About this particular Andrew Hunt
There are so many of us. I’m not the author of the fabulous book, “The Pragmatic Programmer”, nor the English footballer, nor the Brooklyn bluegrass musician, not even the one who was the first to be married on the Internet. I’m the one who’s been toiling away in New York City as a Flash developer for ages now.
These are some of my learnings on Flash/AS3 development in a collaborative environment. I’ve gotten so much great stuff from other blogs, I thought it was time to give back.
This is my LinkedIn profile, if you care about that kind of thing.
Hi Andrew,
I’m a new(er) german Flash/Flex developer learning each day more and more about these technologies. Currently I’m trying to optimize my developement-workflow with ANT-Scripts. I was reading our blog about your ANT-Workflow and I just finished reading part II when i discovered, that there’s no part III & IV, is that correct?
I’m only working in a little 2-man company and since I’m the only SWF-Developer around the people I know, I have to teach me everything by myself. Your blog entry about the problems you had with flex and svn is exactly the same I have for a long time know. So I’m pretty interessted in having a look at your developement workflow with ANT and how you solved the svn problems. I would extremly apreciate if there’s a tiny chance that you mind find a little time to finish part II & IV?
If you could’nt finish these blog articles, wouldn’t it bother you sending me some links that helped you finding your solution?
*Mit freundlichen Grüßen*

Hi Alex,
I haven’t had time to write more on ANT, but I do really love it and use it on every project. Another NYC developer has done a really good series on ANT and compiling, you should check out her blog for more details on setting up compiling:
